This picture shows the net I put over the pond during the most severe leaf-fall period in autumn. This picture was taken on 4th October 2003 on the day I put the net over the pond. I anticipate keeping in place until around the end of November. The wooden battens help prevent the net from drooping into the water when many leaves collect on it. | | Click to enlarge | |
